This is a polymer clay charm tutorial. You will learn everything you need for starting a polymer clay project. Also you will learn what kinds of clay to use.

What you need for a polymer clay project

I am a craft artist and my favorite things to do is use polymer clay. I get polymer clay from michaels craft store. It doesn't cost much, about 1-2 dollars per color.another thing you are going to need is clay tools.I use play dough tools. If you want more advanced tools id get a tool set from sculpey. They are also available at michaels. Here is a list of craft supplies I got from michaels.
. mini cookie cutters
. eyepins
. clay
. sculpey clay tools
. glitter
. scupey glaze
I only spent about 20 dollars on all of this. So why do you need these things. Well the cookie cutters help you to cut perfect shapes out.
Eye pins help to make your charms into charms. Then you can add them into necklaces and bracelets.
The glitter is just for fun to make the charms pretty also kids love it.
lastly the sculpey glaze is to make your project shiny.

Easy first project

first get any color of clay you want then cut out the colors with a few cookie cutters then add a eye pin to each cut out shape. now bake the cut out shapes to the time on clay packages. Now glaze them. Lastly get a sharpie marker and let your kids draw on them or write there names on them.
Well thats all for this lesson.
Bye and happy crafting
