children are a blessing from God, this is what the bible says, and here is a story on the same.

the bible teaching on children

The church, as Christ commissioned, should take the responsibility of caring for the children as they are innocent and helpless if left on their own.

The organizations that have distinguished themselves in the care of street children may need to be equipped with powerful tools to assist them in their fight against the challenges faced during the rehabilitation of street children (Mombe 2004, 82). In the letter of Saint Paul to the Philippi, children are a gift from God. They therefore should be treated with love and affection. In any situation that the children happened to be born to the world, they are and should be treated as a special gift from God. Where children are lacking, there is always a cry for their presence. As it is put in the book of Genesis, Abraham and Sara believed God for a child, Sara, after getting a child through her slave girl Hagar, still believed God for her own child which she got at an old age. The researcher had a method of theological sharing with the children; this was organized in a way that led to an open sharing between the children at the Centre, the administration of the Centre, the neighbouring community and the researcher. Usually the truth of the real life experience is hard to believe.

It takes a long time to believe what we are really going through, but the expectations of what we would wish to be are really easy to believe, they take only a fraction of a second to believe. There are some challenges that may lead to feelings of being miss-understood or mistreated, but the best way to deal with such is not to run away from the place, being young may be a challenge due to the fact that everyone expects you to listen and obey them, but after sharing with another person one may find a better way of handling the challenges and go back to correct the mistake they have made in life.

Although I do not count myself as a Christian, I do take very seriously the line recorded as having being said by Jesus that anyone who harms a child should have a millstone placed round their neck and be dropped into the sea.
