Day nursery or kindergarten introduces your child to children of the same age, new adults, and new set of discipline.

Schooling

Your child learns from the new equipment and toys available, and from the teacher's ability to instruct new and interesting skills.By the time your child starts a more formal education, he or she has discovered how to cope with the new environment,k and how to compromise the desire for freedom with the minor restriction of an institution's discipline.

Your child also learn the enjoyment of making friends. You can help in this adjustment bay showing an interest in your child's work and play , and by talking to the teachers about your child's progress. Your involvement is appreciated by teacher and child.

Your child may have anxieties and fears about the first few days at any school. This is normal, and most schools let you stay for a little while until your child has met the new classmates and teachers, and has had a look around the school. Mos children fit into a pattern of school life and discipline in a few days. The rule structure at a school is usually sensible, and punishment usually fair.

Problems may arise form bullying and teasing. Talk to your child and ask how this are going each day. This support is essential, and it is often surprising how, with your reassurance, he or she is able to cope with school problems of this kind. Much of the problem is due to an underlying feeling of insecurity and and apprehension. A secure, sociable child is most likely to remember schooldays as being some of the best.

Whether your child is clever or not, and skilful at sport or not, is unimportant compared with his or her ability to make friends, and remain happy in the school. This gives you a grater pleasure than any other form of success as a parent, and is the basic quality essential for a happy life.

yes agreed ! all that should matter is your child should be happy in school. most parents start judging their kids on basis of their academic performance, which seems too harsh.

It's a strong link between happiness and success in school/workplace. It is a significant correlation between happiness and academic success. Moreover, the relationships are fundamental to students’ happiness.

yes, correct. If a child is happy, he or she will naturally give good academic results too.
