The Plight of the Living Dead

Time is of the essence for a great many people. All they need to do is make the right choice between good and evil.

The first voice

When Adam had his very first taste of consciousness as a created human being he had no knowledge of good or bad behavioural patterns in human beings. Neither could the idea of righteousness or unrighteousness have been a consideration for him. The same applied to Eve after she had made her entrance and joined herself to Adam. The two of them must have roamed the Garden in wonderment and with childlike glee at their surroundings. Their innocence far exceeded that of a one-year old child in today’s world.

Of further significance is the fact that they were “born” as young adults, thereby overriding the need to be nurtured like weak and helpless babies. There can be no doubt that they must have been informed by their Creator as to their existence and what was expected of them. The Creator’s voice was the only other voice they were acquainted with besides their own.

Imagine entering this world as an adult and finding yourself in such an environment, completely innocent and void of the knowledge of conflict of any kind. In today’s world, a one-year old child would have had exposure to anger, bitterness, domestic altercations and vengeful action – something of which Adam and Eve were in total ignorance.

The other voice

It could not have been very long after their emergence as the first human beings to be introduced to another voice – a voice different to the one they were used to. This new voice seemed to contradict the voice of their Creator. It introduced them to an appealing concept that perhaps would open up new possibilities for their lives. In effect, the voice told them that they could be their own gods and as such they would be able to make their own choices between good and evil. They did not need the Creator God to dictate their lifestyles.

They heeded the second voice, the voice of Satan – the voice of death - and so they alienated themselves from God. They became spiritually dead and condemned.

After about 1700 years the voice of Satan had so corrupted humankind that God wiped out the entire human race except for Noah and his family, for Noah walked with God. Experts agree that the population before the flood stood at a minimum of 7 billion people.

The voice continues

Today, once again, the world population stands at well over 7 billion people and Satan’s voice, assisted by fallen angels and demon spirits, has been reverberating through the minds of all who have lived and died from the time of Noah to today. His voice cries out to the living dead: “Avoid talk of God and the embarrassment of the name of Jesus Christ in your midst. Use his name as a vulgar expletive like they do in Hollywood movies. Entertain yourself by watching my television programmes. Stay up to date with the latest communication devices and keep yourself busy by using them all day long. Strive for success and prosperity in the business world. Eat, drink and be merry. Don’t let Christians influence your life by quoting to you from the Bible. They are less informed. You live in modern times, not in the era of Biblical superstitions and myths. Regard their humility and sincerity for what it is, namely, intellectual weakness. They are beneath you and don’t deserve to be in your company. Let them run after their God. You know better.”

Like Noah, many have walked with God and many are walking with God today. Not that they are perfect. They err in thought and deed daily, but Christ in them is perfect and He is their recourse should they come to Him in repentance. Those of the living dead do not know this. They see only the imperfections and declare, “If that’s Christianity, then I want no part of it.”

Judgement by fire

Once again God will judge the world. The first time it was by a deluge of water that fully covered the earth and destroyed all but those that believed. The next judgement will be by fire. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2Peter 3:10). “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2Thess 1:7-9)

What the living dead do not realise is that the judgement of fire comes into effect for them the moment they die. Physical death is merely a departure point for the spirit/soul from one place to another. Those that walk with God will go to heaven and the living dead, unless they convert, will go where they belong – the place reserved for the devil and his angels.

Only one question remains. How much time is left before the judgement by fire? Every single prophecy in the Bible concerning the “last day” scenario is busy converging before our eyes. We need only observe the human slaughterhouse situation in the Middle East, the refugee crises and the massive destruction caused by earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods and landslides.

Let the orchestra play

Donald J. Trump appears to be the divinely-appointed conductor busy orchestrating all the players for the end time events. He is an irritation to the American political establishment as well as to all those living dead presenters/reporters on CNN who are seemingly dancing to the tune of spiritual powers in high places.

Syria, Iran and their allied Islamic terrorist groups are ready to launch an all-out attack on Israel. The latter is fully prepared to defend their God-given land. The world is very likely to witness World War III on their television screens playing out in the Middle East this year, 2018. It will be a short but devastating war. And, according to prophecy, there is no doubt that God will be showing his hand in this war. Could this be the beginning of the end? “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2Peter 3:7)

Prophetically, everything is in place. The time appears to be up. “And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:” (Rev.10:5,6)

Those of the living dead do not realise that they have been victims of “he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world;” (Rev. 12:9)

The time for the living dead to have a change of mind is now. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2).
