The Falling Away

We live in a time where some of the prophecies in the Bible are being fulfilled and revealed. Just one of them is that today some are calling evil; good and good; evil. The people are worshiping the creation instead of the Creator. I don't know, but maybe, this has been happening since the beginning of time.

I'm Angry

I get angry and disturbed by the days that we live in; days where the people call good; evil and evil; good. Its not like I didn't’ know they were coming though. We have been told in the Bible that these days would come. There seems to be no justice for the working man. Men that are not willing to work an honest days work, use their families, neighbors and acquaintances as a means to make money, using and abusing relationships to gain a buck. Men that are enlisted to protect and serve, do just the opposite. Guilty men are treated as though they were innocent , and the innocent man is treated as though he were guilty.

My heart is fallen , because we are so mesmerized by someone else’s troubles that it is even reported in the local newspapers, things that are none of our business, bait from the enemy, and our own weaknesses, temptation to point our finger at someone else, thus disregarding our own breaking of the law. There are three fingers pointing back at us when we point a finger at someone else! We have been told in scripture, that if we have offended in one area of the law; we are guilty of all. How easy it is to look at someone else’s life and think about how they should change. Jesus said it this way. "Why beholdest thou the mote (twig) that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceive not the beam (timber) that is in thy own eye?” If we were in the same situation, we may very well cope in the same way.

Look its Me!

If we were to read our Bibles we could see our reflection in the characters that are in some of the stories. Look at David, he wanted someone else’s wife and set about to get her , even killing in the process. Yet, we are told that David was a man after Gods own heart. Read the story of Rahab, the harlot, she helped two men of God, hiding them from their enemies, she is listed in the chapter of faith written in Hebrews 11. Jonah, ran from God because he didn’t want to do what God told him to do. He did it eventually after God allowed Jonah to go through some trouble in life. There are many more stories about people just like us in the Bible.

I love nature and my family, kids and grandkids. I believe that all relationships begin with Jesus and will end without him. Life is simply all about Jesus and Me and then Me and You.
