Pope Benedict XVI is the 111th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and according to the prophecy of St. Malachy, who was born in 1094, there will only be one more pope in the Catholic Church. He will be the 112th and final pope, Petrus Romanus.

St. Malachy: The Prophecy of the Popes

St. Malachy, born Maelmhaedhoc O’Morgair, was a medieval Irish priest and Kabbalist; his birthdate was 1094 A.D. St. Malachy was born to nobility. In 1140 he went to the coronation of Pope Innocent II. While in Rome he received strange visions of future pontiffs, which extended until the end of time. He gave the document to the church where it remained unknown in the Roman Archives until 1590. Pope Clement III canonized St. Malachy on July 6, 1199. He became the first Irish Saint to be canonized.

St. Malachy prophesized in advance, the in proper succession of Roman pontiffs from Pope Celestine II to “the end of time,” and he has been correct on every one of his prophecies. Here is where we are on St. Malachy’s calendar. Pope John Paul II (The Labor of the Son, (“De medietate Lunae”) was Pope number 110.

The present Pope is number 111(Olive’s Glory) and the one mentioned in Revelation who will deliver the Roman Catholic Church to Satan. The final Pope will be Pope 112; he will be called Peter the Roman but he is the Pope spoken of in Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11, known as the “Abomination that Causes Desolation.”

This 12th century monk, St. Malachy’s said this. “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus or Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city (Rome) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”

What the prophecy of St. Malachy does is put us only (1) Pope away from Judgment Day. So, when is the Rapture of the Church?

The answer is no one knows the day, the hour, or the year when the Rapture will occur but (God) did tell us we would know the season by the events.

Look at the harlot in the book of Revelation. The harlot commits sin with the kings of the earth and she is drunk on the blood of the saints. The woman symbolizes a church and it is believed to be the Catholic Church.

Revelation 17:1-6 reads;

“Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who is seated upon many waters,(2)with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and with the wine of whose fornication the dwellers on earth have become drunk.”(3)And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, which was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. (4)The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and bedecked with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her fornication; (5) and on her forehead was written a name of mystery : “Babylon the great, mother of harlots and of earth’s abominations.” (6) And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.”

I personally do not believe in the rapture and think it was something thought up by a teenage girl (we know she started the idea of the rapture) and spread by a few unscrupulous charletons.

Bless you Ann for your informative write . I for one do believe in the rapture . All things are possible with God , and one day all will see it to be true , until then ...Only 25 years ago , no one had heard of cell phones or microchips , but all are here now , and I am sure there are technical achievements still to happen that will be even more outstanding .
Be very blessed

Thank you Stella. The Rapture is as real as Life and Death. We don't have any personal control over our birth and we don't know the exact time of our death.

God is God with our without any approval from man. Man is finite, of very small duration and God is eternal. He is Infinite and does not adhere to the intellect of His creation.
