Smiling At The Creatures

The Creator of the universe inspired the writing of a Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love. That book is commonly referred to as the Bible. In this Book it is said that if a person be in Christ, he/she is a new creature. Old things are passed away and all things are become new. This is recorded in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Smile Because

Be still and listen. The Creator of the universe wants to bless you, and keep you ~ and ~ make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you. He wants to lift up His countenance upon you, and grant you His peace

Make Your Heart Glad

When our hearts are glad, we're able to have a cheerful face, but by sorrow of the heart our spirits are crushed.

Smile As You Sing Praises And Give Thanks

In her Article 7 Good Reasons to Smile, Jennipher Walters, Health and Fitness Writer says that
when You Smile, the World Smiles Back. She continues in the Article by saying "Smiling happens without much thought. When you watch a friend do something silly or embarrassing, you smirk. When a police officer lets you off without a ticket, you grin. And when you are recognized for your top performance in academics or at work, you beam. Smiling is a very natural response that shares our happiness with others.

Ms Waters continues by saying that smiling can make you happy (even when you're not) ~ and ~ It can also make others happy.

She emphasizes that the simple act of smiling sends a message to your brain that you're happy. And when you're happy, your body pumps out all kinds of feel-good endorphins. This reaction has been studied since the 1980s and has been proven a number of times.

Be Thankful For Something to Smile About

Three elderly sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, shared a house together. One evening, the 96 year old sister went upstairs to take a bath. As she put her foot into the tub, she paused. Then she yelled down to the other two sisters and asked, "Was I getting in the tub or out?"

"You dern fool," said the 94 year old. "I'll come up and see." When she got half way up the stairs she paused. "Was I going up the stairs or down?"

The 92 year old sister was sitting at the kitchen table drinking a cup of tea and thought, "I hope I never get that forgetful, knock on wood." She shook her head and called out, "I'll be up to help you both as soon as I see who's at the door."

Uplifting post, Helen. I try to laugh away my follies though I remember not to repeat them. I believe in the dictum - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. To err is only human. Those who are afraid of mistakes will never try new ideas. Never get bogged down in life; keep smiling and going forward - siva

Ah , this brought a smile to my face dear Helen .
I too have had a few ' Senior moments ' like the second sister , and I am nowhere near that grand age ....so I can empathize as well as see the funny side .
May you always wear a smile ..as a dear friend says ' without it , we are not dressed properly '
God richly bless you
Stella ><

Thanks ~ Stella ~ for your continued support and encouragement. I have also had my share of 'those moments' possibly because of powerful distractions or something of that nature. Anyway ~ I too can empathize ~ to the extent that I almost feel bad laughing about these sisters. However I like the story so much that I keep reading this part so that I can laugh some more.

Endless blessings to you ~ my friend!
