Our Creator God allowed His Son to pay the price with His life for everyone to experience lasting peace If we wish to maintain peaceful relationships, it is critical that we stay away from jealousy and selfishness. Wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, you will find disorder.

Free To Be At Peace

In Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching On Life and Love, we are told in the New Testament Book of Galatians, Chapter 5 New Living Translation that:

Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free . . .

Don't Worry Look At The Birds

Here is an admonition based off Chapter Six of the Gospel of Matthew in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love:

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life ~ whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Jealousy and Selfishness Are Enemies Of Peace

It is clear to me that we need to come to the realization that Jealousy and Selfishness will yield the very opposite of Peace.

If we desire to maintain peace in our relationships, it behooves us to stay far away from jealousy and selfishness. They are not tools of wisdom.

They are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic Wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there will be disorder and evil of every kind. This is based off teaching from the New Testament Book of James in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love.

Gentleness And Willingness To Yield

In traffic, generally we stop at a red light ~ but even when you have the green light you may need to yield.

Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to utilize wisdom. Wisdom from above is pure, peace-loving, gentle ~ and ~ willing to yield to others. It Is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows ~ no favoritism ~ and is always sincere.

Even in traffic situations, it is thought to be much better ~ and may even avoid road rage ~ to stop on the green light when it is clear that ~ possibly a drunk driver ~ coming from the opposite direction ~ is going to run the red light.

Reaping Your Harvest Of Peace

I believe that it's good for us to understand the importance of ~ sowing what we want to reap.

Also the ten commandments represent a great standard to endeavor to live by.

The First commandment is Love. We are to love God first above all things. Honor your father and mother is the first commandment with promise, that it may be well with you and you may have a long life.

Think for a moment about how so few really honor their parents. There is so much more. Suggestion ~ get out your bible ~ or go to bibleway.com ~ and find all the answers to your problems. Ask Jesus to come into your heart. Confess your sins to Him and ask Him to give you Salvation and fill you with the Holy Spirit.

As we continue to Plant Seeds of Peace ~ we will reap more than just a harvest of peaceful coexistence ~ but a harvest of righteousness.

Great post Helen highlighting those we take for granted, the basics that we should live by. Sadly, we act as if might is right and refuse to see the light!

I try to do what is right so that others benefit and then forget about it. I have seen the rich never satiated and the more they possess, the more they want!

Our Creator has given us everything for our needs and more, but there is no limit to our greed, ego, prejudice. The sooner we follow the light the better for us all.

When we live in harmony with nature, heaven is right at our doorstep - siva

Helen, you words are such a delight to read. Thank you for sharing them. I must tell you a secret that I never reveal to anyone. I can honestly say I have never been jealous of anyone or anything in my life. I think it's a gift and I'm truly glad that I have been given the insight to not have those negative feelings. If someone does good I'm very happy for them. If someone gets something nice I'm thrilled. It's just the way I am.
