Should Christians vote in political elections? This is becoming a highly charged issue in Christiandom and politics. In this and forthcoming articles the subject of Christian voting will be discussed in the light of Bible Christianity.

Time To Be Sapped Once Again

It will sap our spirits yet again. Just five months away is another election year – the mid-term elections for federal and state officials along with a myriad of ballet items. It seems we are never free from bombastic political warfare for our votes.

For Christians there is a highly charged issue attached to these seemingly incessant political contests. The issue of Christian voting gains momentum each election cycle and well it should. It is my heart-felt belief that many Christians have been propagandized by secular philosophy related to voting and public elections.

The Holy Spirit has really dealt with my spirit during the past two presidential elections. I have been compelled to alter my heretofore secular views on Christian voting and I have never felt so right. I know there are a few Christians who feel as I do but there needs to be a unified army of Christians who advance the Kingdom of God above any ungodly earthly society.

In the forthcoming articles the issue of Christian voting will be discussed in light of Biblical truth. Christian voters know the civil purpose of political voting but many don't know the higher spiritual truth on the issue. It is not a difficult issue if we fully understand our Christian position and civil responsibility as outlined in the Bible.

I hope you will continue with us as we probe the issue of Christian voting which is more important than ever. You may agree or disagree but I will confidently and lovingly publish what the Lord has laid on my heart. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Thank you for reading and may GOD BLESS YOU.

In the United States , Phil , there is a tendency for Christians who stand for Office to say they are Christian , but here in the UK very few would make that claim . We therefore have to vote on their policy's not on their beliefs . It is a dilemma for all who want to genuinely make the right choices , so it is wise to pray about it , methinks.
God bless you

Thanks, Stella, for reading and commenting to my blog. I understand that the UK is more secular minded than the USA but we are gaining ground which is a dubious accomplishment.

You are correct in suggesting that Christians pray before voting their choices. I think that too many Christians in the USA vote for candidates who oppose God, Christ and Christianity. They ought not to in my opinon.

Have a blessed day in the Lord Jesus Christ.
