Sometimes we just need to rewind a little, and take life a little slower.

The perfect excuse for a stroll on the town!

Actually, mopping myself out of the house is something I do quite regularly. I will already have the stroller on the carport, packed and ready for travel.
Today, our journey consisted of admiring the absolutely gorgeous spring weather, enjoying the sweet fragrance of lilacs and various other blooming beauties, stopping at our favorite little restaurant to get a bite for the princess. Then off to the post office to check our mail, only to discover that we received a package too big to fit in the cargo compartment of the stroller, and on to our final destination, the park! After much playing in the dirt, and washing in the spring which runs through the    little park, we strolled to the nearby library, played with a puzzle, refilled the sippy with water, and back outside we went to eat apples and oranges. On the return trip home, my angel fell asleep, her little 15 month old body, exhausted. Now, our home is located on the steepest hill in town. The only way to get home is to walk up a steep hill, or walk up a steeper hill. I chose the steeper hill today, because it is faster.  When I entered our house, shining floors were here to greet me. I pushed the stroller with its precious passenger into the living room, and there she remains, still sleeping. Strolling is one of our favorite things to do. Sometimes we just need to park the car, grab our walking shoes, and see things from a different perspective. Try mopping yourself out of the house sometime. It just might become a habit!

Not a darn thing mopping y'all out of the house, sounds like a great time. I do miss those times with my kids. They are now 29 & 27. I do have my grandson that is now 23 months old. Loving that but, my hills are less steep at this age.LOL
I enjoyed the read. Thank you for sharing.:)
