Morning movement – begins with exercises and breakfast

Mornings become different when someone decides to act early. Here we see some new actor who creates morning madness.

Two morning movers

There is nothing more tedious than getting up on a new bright sunny day. Tim was angry. His new shoes were missing – at least one of it was not where it should have been, by the fireside near the poker. Robin was trying to hide for another ten minutes under his sheet. The birds were singing their morning song in the trees.

Crime scene

They were due in school at 9:00 AM and it was 8:00 AM already.
Tim usually ran all over the back yard and the lawn and the rose bushes every morning. Linda was prime suspect. It was her rose bushes and it seemed hiding the shoes would stop the juggernaut from steam rolling the garden.

However, it was soon evident that there was another mysterious force at work. Linda was visiting her aunt and she had left the previous day. And so the Mystery of the Missing Shoe was born.

Of songs and tresses

Linda and her aunt were one of a kind. They both liked gardens and roses, they both liked pink dresses with black borders and they both could sing like a …beetle is it, or elephant? No, they could sing better than crows…let us leave it at that.

Breaking the time barrier

Tim was a stubborn lad and was not against hopping it all the way in one shoe across the garden. His mornings were not complete without the morning garden trampling ritual. But if one considered the fashion aspect, Tim was fastidious in dressing and he would never be seen in public in one shoe. Mom brought out the breakfast dishes yelling for Robin to up it and get moving. And the cat brought out the shoe. It was playing with it under the sofa.

So the morning is born

It takes more than coffee or sunshine to make a morning complete. It takes some vigorous movement (leave it to Tim) and some slow sluggish movement (Robin was the expert) combined with songs. Unfortunately, Linda was away and it was up to the birds to carry their song alone.

Up and away

Robin finally made it out of the trenches where he was hiding and bravely faced the world. Tim took off to do justice to Linda’s rose bushes and another day had begun -- all was well.

Hello Mariah, We all enjoyed the Commonwealth Games and Glasgow too. Though it seems to me, rain never lets up in Scotland. Sure must feel good.

Definitely, Siva if there is one thing that moves children it is the morning. However, schools gobble them up within an hour or two.
