The message written on my journal reminded of the movie "Hellboy" and a great lesson to remember.

What the hell are you! Hellboy?

Perhaps you’ve seen that movie, HellBoy For me, it’s a good one. I like the characters, special effects, sounds and the storyline. I actually watched the movie way back 2005. And last night while scanning the pages of my journal I saw my notes. I wrote the lesson I’ve heard from the movie. As far as I can remember during the climax, the Professor made a realization. He asked “What is it that makes a man a man?” and then he answered : “What makes a man a man is the CHOICES he makes.”

Earlier I’ve searched the net and looked for the complete statement. I found this:
“What makes a man a man? A friend of mine once wondered. Is it his origins? The way he comes to life? I don't think so. It's the choices he makes. Not how he starts things, but how he decides to end them. (Hellboy 2004). Ah… what a thought-provoking statement.

A man might be as ugly as Hellboy but if he chooses to act and do the right thing, he can be a hero. Everyone has a choice. We have the choice to do good (or bad). We have the choice to react or make excuses. We have the choice to leave something or take responsibility. It may not be very easy sometimes (especially for Hellboy because he is temperamental) but doing the right thing is always the best choice. And then keeping the good deeds until the end makes him a better man.

It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. ~Tony Robbins
