Learning To Leave The Guilt Behind

It is definitely a process. However after a while, it becomes clear that being quick to forgive those who do us wrong, and quick to ask for forgiveness when we wrong others will help to usher us into freedom from guilt and anxiety

Don't Let Emotions Rule Your Life ~ Live By Faith

The price has been paid for the removal of guilt and for forgiveness to be received
If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us . . .
This is according to information in the New Testament Book of 1 John, Chapter One, Verse Nine in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching On Life and Love.

Forgiveness Has Been Provided

From Psalm 130 in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love, we find this:

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!

Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications.

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?

But ~ THERE IS FORGIVENESS ~ with You.

Restoration of Calmness And Quietness

There are several ways to calm and quiet the soul. Here are some that I find helpful:

1) Listening to soft, faith based music ~ instruments only ~ or with lyrics
2) Singing joyful songs of praise

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

3) Reflecting on happy times

4) If practical from a medical standpoint, exercise for 20 to 45 minutes at a time, 3 to 5 X per week

Boldness In Asking For Help

Having faith in God is the key element. In Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love, we find this in the New Testament Book of Hebrews, Chapter Four, Verse sixteen: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. *** {This promise is found in Matthew 7:7} ***

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. {John 14:13-14}

Chosen To Be Joyful

The Greatest Man that ever lived ~ The Humbled and Exalted Christ ~ is credited with making this statement ~ which can be found in our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love in the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, Verses 13-14:

"You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you." This statement is attributed to Jesus and can be found in the Gospel of John, Chapter Fifteen, Verse Sixteen.

So ~ to avoid guilty feelings, do what you know in your heart is right ~ not what your emotions may suggest.

I have left all this with the good Lord, but sometimes, even after knowing that He died for us, to take our sins from us, it is still so hard to forget our sins...Thank you so much for being here.

Repentance has always proved the quickest way for me to be forgiven and released from the guilt , dear Helen .
the Lord truly is faithful to forgive and wash us clean of all our sin and guilt if we acknowledge it and then repent .
Then we can experience complete cleansing and peace in our souls .
May the Lord grant you His Peace today in overflowing measure .
Many blessings
