I'm 25 and recently had to move home, with my parents.

What led me home..

Well I had moved into my own apartment in 2009. I loved the people, and it was about 5 minutes from where I worked - which is a plus as I don't drive. In March of 2009, I got fired from my job, I was getting unemployment, so I decided to stay until my lease was up.

The people that I thought were nice, ended up giving me a hard time at the building. They did everything they could to get me too live, and caused drama. I don't like drama. When my lease was up, it was decided that I move back home with my parents for the time being to get my life back on track.

June 2010

In June of 2010 I moved back into my parents house with them, my brother and my grandmother. They live in Harrison, which is about 30 minutes from where I was living. I know, not far distance wise, but a completely different world. I have a basement room, so it still feels like I live alone.

I haven't quite met anybody yet, but there are a load of stores and a library near by. Hopefully I can get out there and start meeting people. All In All, I think it was a good choice to move home, at least for the time being.

As a mother, I feel you made the right choice also. You will meet new friends in time.
I think that is one of the things that I miss here in the US is, a lot of people have lost that, family takes care of family mentality.
I hope all works out for you.
Thanks for sharing.
