As a maturing Christian, the truth of God’s sufficiency becomes a great source of encouragement and sustenance. The God who does not lie has said to us that His grace is all we need.
He is enough
And to keep me from being too elated by the abundance of revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I besought the Lord about this, that it should leave me; but he said to me, ’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10, RSV)
When I was a kid, the woman who babysat me sometimes would often say to me “Young man, that is sufficient” when I would get on her nerves. I grew up hating that phrase with a passion! In fact, I remember not really understanding how it could be sufficient because I wasn’t quite done yet! She was done, but I still had more to give!
As a maturing Christian, the truth of God’s sufficiency becomes a great source of encouragement and sustenance. The God who does not lie has said to us that His grace is all we need.
When Billy Graham was driving through a small southern town, he was stopped by a policeman and charged with speeding. Graham admitted his quilt, but was told by the officer that he would have to appear in court.
The judge asked, "Guilty, or not guilty?" When Graham pleaded guilty, the judge replied, "That'll be ten dollars -- a dollar for every mile you went over the limit."
Suddenly the judge recognized the famous minister. "You have violated the law," he said. "The fine must be paid--but I am going to pay it for you." He took a ten dollar bill from his own wallet, attached it to the ticket, and then took Graham out and bought him a steak dinner! "That," said Billy Graham, "is how God treats repentant sinners!"

Certainly one would agree that God’s grace is sufficient for our spiritual needs. There is no place too deep, no place too dark that God’s grace cannot handle. This applies equally as well to our physical and material needs.
Paul begged God over and again to remove a “thorn” from his side. No one really knows what it was that Paul was suffering from , but it was significant enough that he asked God to take it away. God’s answer gives hope for each of us today. God said “I’m enough.”
It doesn’t matter where we are, or what we are doing, God gives us enough grace to get through it. It’s been said that When God solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities. Part of
God’s goodness is He knows just how much we need!
God’s grace is sufficient!

This is a great article. God always hears us and do the best for us. He even gives us without we ask. He's also generous and even gives and helps people who don't believe in his existence.

Yes, isn't that one of the great things? Even those who don't believe, benefit from His grace.
