It Is Time For Standing

SCOTUS has ruled that gay marriage is constitutional therefore good and right for Americans. What is your thought on that? This article lays out what true Christians might do to show opposition.

Sinning Has Been Made Law

Gay marriage is constitutional therefore it is right and good for the people, so decided SCOTUS. How did we as a nation and civil society get to this point? There is no doubt in my mind it is due mostly to the failure of churches and Christians to stand against the devil. We all are familiar with these words written by the Apostle Paul:

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph 6:11-12 Paul then proceeds to tell us the spiritual articles we are to don for this spiritual fight.

America's fate has been declared and sealed with SCOTUS' unconscionable ruling for gay marriage. Yet it goes unnoticed by the ungodly and Christians alike that it is the devil that rules in our high places of government and the judiciary. And what has been the treacherous outcome of Satan's influence? Sin has been made the law of the land. We must now sin in order to be good citizens. How crazy is that?

For those who perceive Satan's insidious corruption of America's civilization I say it is time for Christians to go beyond recognition to retaliation. We must actively show our disapproval and opposition to our government's heathenish ways, specifically the gay marriage law. I will tell what myself and others are doing to repel the “wiles of the devil” leavening our leaders and lawmakers.

We are removing the American flag from our houses, flag poles and cars. If you want to fly a flag make it the Christian flag. I have quit buying and affixing American flag stamps on envelopes. For quite some time I was placing the flag stamps upside down on envelopes which is an international sign for distress. The American flag once meant much to me but not now since it is emblematic of a nation which blatantly displays hate for God, Jesus Christ and Christians.

Many will immediately cringe when it is known that I no longer blindly recite the “pledge of allegiance.” I quit doing that when states began legalizing same sex marriage because I knew we would reach the place we are now. Truly, I don't see how a faithful Christian can stand and vow their loyalty to any country such as America has become. MY ALLEGIANCE IS TO A COUNTRY WITH ANOTHER KING!

I know this message will not be well received by many Christians but that is okay. It won't alter my heartfelt feelings or actions in an attempt to “stand against the wiles (deceitfulness) of the devil” and to stand for Jesus Christ. I ask my fellow Christians to stand with us who have decided to reject our amoral leadership and to “earnestly contend for the faith.” Jude 3

Ending thought: I wonder how many churches will be flying the American flag when they come to apprehend the pastor or congregants for violating ungodly laws and the “political correct” code.

I would truly would like to hear from you who are like minded. GOD BLESS

Stop being so homophobic, I thought your god was supposed to love everyone equally

Well done, America! This was a right and proper step to take that removes something that was wrong and replaces it with something that is right, namely equal treatment in law for people with different sexualities.

People of faith need to recognise that right and wrong cannot be judged solely by reference to Bible quotations. The Bible was written 2000 and more years ago, and so cannot possibly contain all the answers for the modern world. To say otherwise is like driving a Ferrari and relying for its maintenance on a manual for the Model T Ford!
