Introducing new food for a toddler is a very big challenge for young mothers. There are some tips to introduce new food for a toddler. If the tips are being used the toddlers can be easily fed.

Big challenge

"Feeding my toddler is a big challenge," told one young mother to me. Most of the young mothers all over the world are facing the same problem. Once I also faced the same problem. Why?

The answer is very simple. Young children have fear of anything new. They have fear of new people and new situations. Like that they have fear of new food. But every mother should overcome this problem. So I like to give some tips to solve this problem.

Tips to introduce new food

1. Let your child in the kitchen, when preparing the new food. Speak about the new food with your child, when preparing it . You can speak about it's colour, texture and taste.

2. Let your child help in preparing the new food.

3. Don't introduce many new foods at a time. Always introduce one new food at a time.

4. Don't give only the new food at a time. Give it with familier foods.

5. Don't serve big amount of new food. Always start with small amount.

6. Serve the new food when your child is hungry.

7. If your child rejects the new food, don't force it. Try it again later. Don't come to a conclusion, that your child never eats that new food.

8. Enjoy eating the new food in front of the child.
