Love tends to be taken for granted sometimes. Marriages sometimes end in divorce because the partners forget to love each other.

Stale marriage

What is a stale marriage? It is a situation in which the partners just don’t show interest in their relationship and go about living life as total strangers to each other.

A marriage where love is absent is a stale marriage. It makes you rethink of the whole situation and serious thoughts of separating come to mind.

Why does this have to happen? It need not and one must realize that man has been given a precious mind which must not be tormented by emotions. Desires reduce contentment and deprive man of peace. Too much of work and less time spent together will cause drift in marriage. Try to reschedule timings and spend time together alone fantasizing that you are young lovers again. This attitude will certainly bring a change in the situation.

Being content with your partner’s love and showering affection on spouse will keep the fire burning. The feeling behind the love must be true because superficial actions will easily be seen through immediately.

Spending more time together, going for short outings often will help you to remain close always. Try to be dutiful to each other. Looking after each other’s needs will make partners interdependent and seal the relationship. Ignoring a partner will make him or her look somewhere else for love. Complete and rapt attention will never cause problems in a marriage.

Duty, love, spending more time together, being content and happy can save a stale and unhappy marriage. It is easy to reverse a dull marriage by following these methods and giving full and complete attention to the spouse. Better late than never.

beautifully put across ,
but have you also realised, when partners breathe
over each others neck
all the while ,
marriages too become sterile .

so do move on ,
give the spouse one's due
and
then only divorces will be few, very few ,
albeit,
they will still exist,
life is a mist ,
no one knows what lies beneath the cloud ,
till it bursts aloud.

Nice article. The most important thing is to not throw the guilt for everything at the partner and to understand him/her.
