If we were meant to be alone, we would never be lonely. We would be happy doing things by ourselves. But it is a fact, that we’re a lot happier when we have good and caring and loving friends. Here are the ABC’s of making and keeping great friendships!

How to Make Real Friends

Some facts we need to know about friends:
· Friends come in three categories, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
· Friends, we do you really need them.
· Friends can bring us joy and also bring us pain.
· Friends are not always easy to get along with but it is a lot harder to get along without them.
· Friends, to deal with them, we need to learn the art of how to find true friends and what to do with false friends.
· Friends can betray us when we least expect it and leave scars that may never fully heal.

· Friends may need our forgiveness, because at times they hurt us and don’t realize the damage they have done.
· Friends are like a broken dish. No matter what glue is used to piece it together, there may always be a visible crack and it is never as strong as it was before. But if we are able to patch it up, the friendship can still be solid and we can learn to not notice or care about the crack anymore, as it now becomes a priceless antique that we never want to throw away.
An old proverb says: “A friend is loving at all times and becomes a brother in times of trouble.” (Proverbs 17:17, The Bible in Basic English)
From my own experience I can say; happy and rich is the one that has many good friends, for there will always be some that will meet his needs.
