To achieve a goal required a sacrifice such as money, times and efforts, but the value of the sacrifice depends on our appreciation to the goal itself

How much the price to achieve the goal

Each person exactly has a purpose in life. You may want to become entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, or the simple life goals as teachers, social workers and so on. How big is your effort to achieve that goal, it is the price that must be paid. And how great a price to pay with money, effort, and time depends on each individual to appreciate the value of the expected objectives will be achieved. For example, you are very interested in an item and you want to have it. For people who are not interested in that stuff would appreciate very cheap, otherwise you will appreciate expensive even able to sacrifice anything to get it.

Pay the price in the biblical story

In 2 Samuel 24: 18- 24, Gad said to David, "Go up, erect an altar to the Lord …” Revealed word "pay the price" when David replied : "I want to buy from you (The Jebusites) with paying the price, because I do not want to dedicate to God, my God burnt offerings without paying anything." the Jebusites. Jebus is one of the Canaanite tribes who live in mountainous areas around Jerusalem. Ruler named Arauna under power at the time of David (2 Sam 5: 6-10). Under the authority may refer to the understanding that the authorities can force the colonies to submit something. Really, David can do it freely to the floor of Araunah, but David paid the price and did not force Arauna. As told in 2 Samuel 24:24, David paid with six hundred shekels of gold. In this message, the principal note is not value for money and acreage. David had paid the price in worship to the Lord.
Nowadays, many churches were built with a magnificent altar physically; even the churches have a capacity of thousands of congregations. This is the fact that the spirit of David to build the altar of the Lord is also the case until now. However, when the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to Corinthians : do you not know that your body is the temple of Holy Spirit that is in you, whom you have received the Holy Spirit of God, and ye are not your own? The question is have we maintained and build the temple in ourselves with full energy. All of these depend on how much appreciation we serve the Lord, whether it is an obligation or just to serve Him when having free times.

That is right. But how much the cost incurred when the goal was very meaningful for us, the cost was small compared to the benefits. Thanks Magnolia.
