Good manners at the table matter

We may think that our parents nagged at us when they taught manners at the table, but it's most unpleasant seeing people doing such things.

Good manners at the table matter

Some people will say that it doesn't matter, but, in fact, showing good manners when we are having a meal with other people, it does. It doesn't make a difference if we're having a meal with strangers or with relatives.
All of us have been told by our parents when we were children. Some people remember these early teachings, but others do not.
Yet, it's a most unpleasant thing to see someone, doing such nasty things at our table.
1. They pick a stick to clean their teeth in front of the rest of guests.
2. They sit at the table wearing no clothes or almost.
3. If they smoke, they use saucers or cups as if they were ashtrays.
4. The minute they sit down at the table they place their cell phone at their side and they entertain themselves watching texts or calling to someone and they use the chair as if it was a swing and they elbow on the table.
5. They fill their mouths way too much and as though these were toilets.
6. They empty their plates as though they were throwing the leftovers in a bin.
7. They pinch someone's bread.
8. They fill their glass of wine to the top, having to hold it with their two hands.
9. The minute that one of the dishes is brought to them, they start adding all sorts of bottled sauces. They should eat it as it was prepared whether they like or not to respect what the cook has made.
10. They take an ice cube and put it into their mouths to spit it into the glass.
11. If they don't know how to eat spaghetti properly, they should aid themselves with a spoon like Italian children do.
12. They chew, opening their mouths and making a lot of noise.
These are some of the things that our parents told us not to do when we were children. Do we remember them when we sit at the table as well mannered people?

Good reading! Proper manners are not taught enough here in the U.S and it is quite disgusting! I wonder if it's like that around the world?

I don't think it's a question of being born in one country or another, but how parents taught their children and this happens everywhere.
