When visiting or living in Katy, Texas you might find yourself searching for activities for your toddler. Within this article I will be going over my top picks for families with toddlers who are looking for safe, family friendly fun.

Katy Mills Mall

When visiting Katy Mills Mall one of the attractions that grabs toddlers attention is Rainforest Café. They have a delicious menu with Landry's style food enjoyable for the whole family. Within the restaurant you will find an aquarium, a large gift shop that offers clothing, toys, and collectibles for all ages. Rainforest Café also offers close up encounters with life size interactive animals. As you continue to walk around Katy Mills Mall you will find yourself in the middle of their large food court, this food court not only offers families eight choices for restaurants, it offers a carousel and a bungee jump pad for the little ones. Once you make it to the other end of the mall you will see Tilt the all age arcade. Typical arcades are built with older children in mind, Tilt, included everyone with their design. They offer mini bowling, arcade games, and light weight laser tag for toddlers.

Mary Jo Peckham Park

Located in the middle of historic downtown Katy, there lies Mary Jo Peckham Park. Known best for it's lake full of fresh catfish for recreational fishing and it it's three mile walking trail, people can over look all the other amenities they offer for toddlers. Peckham Park's other amenities include an outdoor mini golf course, a large coy pond with food to purchase for feedings, an indoor pool that offers a calendar of events for parents to review, find, and set up classes for their kids. The park also includes BBQ pits, a stand alone playground, and baseball fields.

La Centerra

Located in the heart of Cinco Ranch is La Centerra! La Centerra is an outdoor shopping center that offers so much more than just shopping. Within the middle of town square you will find La Centerra's farmer's market and toddler splash pad. The splash pad is open year round, weather permitting, and swim suits are optional. La Centerra has over 10 different types of restaurants so every member of the family and those picky toddlers can all find something they like. If your toddler is like mine and enjoys shopping there are plenty of toddler boutiques located in and around La Centerra.
