Death is something that a lot of people do not want to face, or even just to talk about. But is it something that we have to be afraid of? Is it really the end of a person's existence or could it be a start of something beyond our own understanding....

Death: Is it the end or a new beginning?

Death is another cause of people’s misery, it bring us pain. And no matter how we know that it will come to each and everyone of us someday, we really can’t accept it as easily as anything that could happen in our life. We mourn over our dearly departed one, some takes years to move on and get on with their lives. We cry not just over the loss but also for the pity over the person who dies. Aside from the fact that when it comes to death, it’s like facing a blank wall or an empty void in front of us, not knowing what lies ahead of us makes death something to be scared of. We have a misconception that death is where life ends; where a black hooded figure with a scythe are waiting in our dead bed to carry us where we must be. But based on some experience of those people i know, they say that when a person is about to die? They mention people from their past that had passed away before, as if they are waiting for them. There are also talks about angels awaiting for the soul of a person during deaths. But that’s another part of topic that could come up here in this page someday.

I remember the scriptures i have read about death in the Bible, and in my own understanding, i realize that we should not mourn over them nor pity them. Instead, mourn for those that they have left behind. Why? Because the ones who have left us does not feel anything, while we are dealing with this pain ourselves. We face each day knowing that they are gone and it hurt us so much. We are the ones that has to deal with what life and this world has to offer us each day.

Death is another cycle, a pace of life, a commemorated celebration. But i do not mean, that you have to jump up and down with glee. I mean, it is where a persons mission in life has been accomplished and his/her prize has been rewarded. a time where a soul departs its physical form to come home to its maker. After all, we are all runners in life, taking different paths but going to the same direction. Though gray and lifeless as it may seems, no one can deny that there is no pain; worries, sickness, and anything that could hurt them anymore. And another thing, we will get to see them too someday. That very consolation can help us deal with death. Life gives and takes away something from us. I guess, what really matter most is to keep each and every one of them in our heats. So that we may forget the pain but never our love ones. Having faith is one more thing, being strongly united with God is something that makes Death another part that we have to take. Would it be wonderful to know that you can be reunited with the people you love someday in a much better place? Yes, it is. Death will come to us in its own time. But while we are still here, we have to live through it and make every day of it worthwhile.

Thought provoking post about life and death. Soul is not born and hence is eternal - is one school of thought. Life is a miracle and death also will prove likewise. We will not be able to unravel the mystery of death while alive here, but we should at least give our life the best shot, live before we die - siva
