Documents Required when moving

A short list of the documents you need when moving to another area

Moving to another State

When moving to another state within the United States you do not need much as far as documentation. You need proof that you lived in the US to begin with though. The most common form of this is a State issued licence or Identification Card (State ID). You will also need your birth certificate.

Moving to Another Country

Moving to another country is trickier than moving to another state. You need the documents you'd need to move to another state as well as a passport, and a visa.
To apply for either you need to provide any piece of paper you have in your name. House payments, bills, Licence, birth certificate. You also need to prove why you are moving to the selected country - this is where the Visa comes in. There are 4/5 different versions of a Visa you can get. You really need to do your research and apply for the correct one, since it needs to get approved before you are given the Visa.

Moving could be tricky indeed considering the breaking of one's china ware and scratching of your beautiful furniture! Thanks for sharing!
