Developing Fruit

It is clear from Scripture that our Creator wants His children to develop patience and kindness out of the LOVE, JOY, AND PEACE that He deposits in those who receive His Son.

What Kind Of Fruit

From our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching Life and Love ~ in the 22nd Verse of the Fifth Chapter of the New Testament Book of Galatians, we find this interesting statement: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness.

So ~ It is quite clear that our Heavenly Father wants us to develop patience and kindness out of the LOVE AND PEACE that He placed inside of us when we received Christ.

He Chose Us

JESUS MADE THIS BOLD STATEMENT ~ that is found in the Fifteenth Chapter of the Gospel of John: My Father is glorified when you ~ PRODUCE MUCH FRUIT ~ and ~ in this way prove that you are My disciples.

He continues with an even more radical statement in Verse 16 of that Fifteenth Chapter of the Gospel of John. Listen to what He says: You did not choose me ~ but ~ I CHOSE YOU ~ and appointed you so that you could ~ GO AND PRODUCE FRUIT ~ and so that your fruit could last.

In His Name

He goes on to make an astounding statement ~ one of those that people sometimes consider to be 'too good to be true statements'. Here is His statement: As a result WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME ~ HE WILL GIVE YOU. What??? Did He say Whatever??? Yes ~ He did. But anybody knows that can't be true ~ right? Wrong ~~ IT IS TRUE BECAUSE HE SAID IT. Whatever ~ you ask the Father ~ In My name, He will give you.

Notice ~ the verse does not read 'Whatever you ask the Father saying My Name' but ~ IN MY NAME. Huge difference.

Those who are not already ' IN HIS NAME' have an open invitation to come in.

We know that a lot more is involved that cannot all be covered in this one article. However ~ we do need to begin to watch what we say because 'saying' is also a form of 'planting' and we do harvest what we plant.

Living Lives That Are Pleasing To Him

The Apostle Paul tells the Church at Colosse ~ as shown in Colossians 1:10 that "We’re praying this so that you can live lives that are worthy of the Lord and pleasing to him in every way: by producing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

Then ~ in our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching Life and Love ~ in the New Testament Book of 2 Peter in Eighth Verse of Chapter 1 ~ we find the Apostle Peter saying this: If all these are yours and they are growing in you, they will keep you from becoming inactive and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is advantageous that we bear in mind that the words being quoted here are not simply words on a page. In our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching Life and Love ~ in the New Testament Book of 2 Timothy in Verse 16, we read that: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
