Choosing the Right Words

There's suggestive powers in our words. Once again, I was reminded today...

...the right words...

For a change, I started the day reading a book. I came across a chapter discussing the power of words. It says that the words we communicate has suggestive powers. It could determine the outcome of our days. Simply saying the right words may alter our thoughts and eventually change our worlds.

As an example, the author stated that panicky words like fear, tension, fatigue, stress create a mild state of nervousness in our minds. And on the contrary, if we choose to speak peaceful words like serenity, calmness and joyfulness, our minds later react in the same way.

Perhaps this is easier said than done, but we ought to train ourselves to say the right words for our own benefit. One unknown author stated that ‘You can get everything you’ve ever wanted in life by simply saying the right words.’ And I believe it's true.

Let me share the message from Philippians 4:8.

...a verse reminder...

Whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable
~if anything is excellent or praiseworthy
~think about such things. (Philippians 4:8)

Nice way to face life. For me I like to understand the reality of the moment and face it without blinking. I may fail but does not matter as long as we did our best . And what does not kill us makes us stronger - siva
