Wall art suggestions for the home office
The decor of a home office, for some, is just as important decorating the home. The only difference is, in the office, you want it to reflect as much of your personal tastes as possible, or reflect specific themes according to the person who'll be using the office. Since your home office can be a place you spend a lot of time in, you want it to be enjoyable and a place you'll be comfortable in. [
Your home office, is still an office for conducting business, but it should be more casual in feel. So if you're a person who loves adorning their office with business or scholastic milestones, your walls might look great with those moments framed and hung on the office wall. A neutral frame of different shapes and sizes can be used to adorn your home office with these certificates, diplomas, letters of recognition and so forth.
Office walls can also house shadowboxes where you place awards, medals, or little thank yous from people who've recognized you. Decorating your home office to compliment your successes in life will definitely put your own spin on it and make it a place you can remember them in.
Some do approach decorating their home office with a sports theme in mind, so they'd need to consider what kind of sporty objects to hang on the office wall which will compliment their theme. Posters, banners, photos, tickets, sports paraphernalia are some suggestions.
By keeping them all sport articles, this will add to the overall cohesive appeal of the home office. Again placing shelving on the wall to house trophies or sporting things like gloves, balls, shoes, sailing rope and so on is a good idea.
If you're a parent or grandparent, you might want to hang images of friends and family on the home office wall. Be sure to keep the photo frames the same color, bringing unity of color to the walls. Group the photos according to family and friends, then create a wall of photos with groupings of large, medium, and small frames but keep a symmetrical feel to it.
Are you a person of eclectic taste and love the unusual? Then you might want to use a hodgepodge of things. From mirrors to individual frames. From black and whites to nature, whatever you choose keep it in line with like patterns and settings.
However you choose to decorate your office, be moderate with your selections. Too much of anything is never good and can be unwelcoming in feeling. Keep your tones warm and soft to promote relaxation. You want your home office to be a place you like being in; decorate your walls with those things that make you happy.

As I paint, my home office is hung with my own, and my wifes, artwork.
I encourage people to buy original art, not Walmart prints if they want something to really make a statement.
Pick art that means something, not art that matches your rug.
