The fascination way in which supports The Word of God. God said the priesthood of Aaron, of the Levi Tribe, would be perpetual. Science discovers the Levitical tribe have a common set of genetic markers unique to them. The Jewish people are preparing for The Third Temple and God is still providing to fulfill His Word.

The Lost Tribes of Aaron's Priesthood

After 3300 years, science has the ability to validate descendants of Aaron. In Exodus 29:9, God established Aaron and his descendants to the priesthood perpetually. The Tribe of Levi did not hold land; their purpose was to serve God and give spiritual instruction. This priesthood can still be identified today through DNA. The Word of God never fails.

“Heaven and earth will pass away before one jot or tittle of My Word pass away.”

As the Jewish people began to think about building The Third Temple in Jerusalem, they were able to find priest for the Temple through DNA. Only males from the direct line of Aaron could serve as priest in the Holy Temple of God. The Cohanim, which are descendants of Aaron, possess a single haplotype that is absent in most of the general Jewish population. “The Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament) describes the anointing of Aaron as the first High Priest, (Cohen Gadol).”

What is a haplotype? From Greek it means one fold, single, simple in genetics is a combination of alleles (DNA sequences) at different places (loci) on the chromosome that are transmitted together. A haplotype may be one locus, several loci, or an entire chromosome depending on the number of recombination events that have occurred between a given set of loci.

This definition can be found with a more in-depth explanation at: http://www.answers.com/topic/haplotype

The men responsible for the research:

Dr. Karl Skorecki, Director o Nephrology and Professor in Medicine, University of Toronto sought to discover if Cohens came from one man; if so they should have a common set of genetic markers- a common hyplotye- from a common ancestor. He worked with Dr. Michael Hammer, University of Arizona.

The Lost Tribes:
The oral history of the Lemba Tribe of Black Jews says that after the destruction of the First Temple, the Lev'im (Assistant priests) and Kohenim or (Cohenim) fled toward Yemen. The group split again and some went in the direction of Africa. One of these tribes is called the Buba (some say this means from Judah); the Buba' were the priestly class. The Buba Tribe has a “particular Y-chromosome haplotype (a combination of unique DNA marker).” This only occurs among Jewish men, especially the Kohanim or priestly tribe.

Today the tribe is approximately 80,000 people. They live in central Zimbabwe. Much of their culture resembles their Jewish ancestors. They don't eat pork. Animals for food is prepared in manner and customs of Jewish ancestors. Other genetic studies indicate the Lemba tribe has a different ethnic origin; there is a definite Semitic contribution. In Genesis 41:50 says that Joseph had an Egyptian wife from which Ephraim and Manasseh were born. It is a fascination thing to see God at work every where we turn.
