Personality is that what we pose-a face mask. A guest comes and deep down never wanted to welcome, but smiling and saying ‘so glad’, that is personality-a face mask.
Persona
The word personality comes from the Greek word persona. In the Greek drama, the actors had to use masks. Those masks were called persona. So, the word personality comes from the Greek word ‘persona.’
Personality is the periphery. It is an opinion as we look at others saying ‘nice personality, beautiful personality, ugly personality.’ Personality is a decision or the opinion of others. If I am alone in this world, who will tell me that I am beautiful? Who will tell me that I am a stupid? If there is nobody to tell us anything about us, opinion will not be there. We will not have any personality.
We cannot have a personality in the bathroom because there is no one around and we are completely brave and unafraid. When we look at the mirror, again personality comes in saying-‘Beautiful’, giving an opinion. If someone is peeping through keyhole, personality comes in because we start behaving.
Personality drops only in the bathroom. That is why we look fresh and beautiful after taking bath. When personality drops, we do not pose. When we do not pose, we are not worried and unaffected by what others say.
In the whole Universe, why only human beings are worried? Why a constant worry persists about the result, to attain the goal, whether things are going to help or not, what will happen tomorrow? Because we look at life as work but not as play…..hmm…when the whole existence is playing in bliss.
Let us drop personality and become individuals! The more you become individual, the more life takes a different quality.

Yeah - it's only humans that have this 'personality' problem. I look at my cats and realise they haven't got a worry in the world. I want to come back as a CAT!!
