One Person Can Change The World
The next time you feel like you are just not important remember that you are. Everyone was born for a purpose and should pursue their dreams and aspirations to utilize their talents that they were given. That is what makes the world a better place for us all.

People that have changed the world
The list is long so let’s keep it short. I will start with my favorite which will not win me many points and ostracize me like people just well do too much in my opinion. By inventing the printing press, Johannes Gutenberg changed the world as we knew it and still continues to so, forever. By taking the one thing that was held by the few to control the many, he liberated the masses. We need to do that some more people. Thomas Edison lit up our darkness and gave us movies which was probably a bad idea and portable music which I think was a good one so we can enjoy the likes of Beethoven, whom was almost not before he was. Alexander the Great by the age of thirty three (and who else) changed the world with some help of course (I had to throw him in). Galileo Galilei (I know Nicolaus Copernicus but he doesn’t prove my point here) pointed out we revolve around the Sun (look what they did to him). Sometimes changing the world doesn’t go over so well but dammit you can’t let that keep you from trying. The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior changed and continues to change the world for more people than he even dreamed. Okay, I Googled it and there are way to many people that made a difference to describe here but one them was Hitler and he did and continues to do so today so if you are encouraged to change the world by this writing, please do it for the positive good of all mankind and animals, especially cats because if it weren’t for cats we would probably not be here (ask me if you don’t know). Don’t believe in change, be the change.
People that could have changed the world
That list is even longer. Before they killed him, Nikola Tesla comes to mind the next time you use an electrical appliance remember it was his idea. Before they ruined him Preston Tucker comes to mind even though he did succeed in many ways he did and does not get credit for it, like the next time you get a ticket for not wearing your seatbelt remember it was his idea. If Howard Hughes had not had that plane crash and got hooked on Codeine, your lives today would very different but then again you might not be enjoying Cable (he put the first television satellite in space) television and all the advancements since the days of three channel rabbit ear reception. He single handedly paved the way for modern world wide entertainment that you now enjoy. It was his vision and vast wealth that made that possible alone as was he. Al Gore did invent the internet but Howard Hughes would have first if probably it were not for all that Codeine. The list goes on and on but you should get the idea. How many millions have been killed in useless wars, violence and unborn babies that had the potential to make our lives better with innovative ideas and solutions to our problems. I could have easily been one of them but I dodged the bullet and am here to contribute to the solution of our world problems with my writing abilities, ideas and compassion for my brothers and sisters of our great planet (which does not have a fever btw) and encourage someone who just might have some answers. It is in us to fix our “problems” all of them if we just worked together. I have a plan and I know that I am not the only one if only their voices could be heard above the rhetoric. I believe in all my heart that one person can make a difference if given the tools and resources or find within themselves, to overcome the odds that life challenges us with and believe me life is a challenge.
What you can do to change the world
My Aunt told me one time, you might not be able to change the whole world but you can at least change your little corner of it, she was married to Arthur C. Clarke and I think he understood he did (Google him). It is not about taking from the haves and giving to the have-nots, it is about giving the have-nots what they need to have. We could easily do this without bothering the people that have because it is not their problem or responsibility even though for most part a lot of them give way more in proportion than they really need to already which is evident of their high morale standards which probably got them to where they are to begin with. In many cases it wasn’t just given to them or re-proportioned as you will (Bill Gates).
The next time someone says, “There is no ‘I’ in team” tell them, “There is no ‘we’ in you.” I am out here on limb with no one but my words without a team but I know the world’s greatest contributors to life as we know it so far, were also alone. It does not take a village but a perceived village idiot to change the world. Just keep in mind “they” are not a reliable source, that’s what my momma always told me. I am working on a project that could change the world of biblical proportions if I can just stick with it but I am also the world’s biggest procrastinator, I started this article thirty years ago. Maybe if I, could get a team to help me out then just maybe, all our lives the world over could be improved. It is the only world we have, I know some believe or think it is not but until I am proven wrong, it is all we have to work (together) with here and now. Some one needs to get started and if these words motivate them, then I have done my part. Thanks for reading and remember comments are always welcome; I am not like the “Guardian.co.uk.” or “Charlotte Observer” opinions and the freedom of expression do matter to the whole betterment of Society.
