Is God to be blamed for all the War and poverty?

In today's world, many events are happening and bad occurrences keep on occurring. And people begin to wonder if there is really a supreme being called God. Some blame Him for the existence of poverty and others say He should have known how to prevent war. Is there really God? If yes, where is He? Is He sleeping while all these happen?
Who created war and disaster?
A man talked about a small video clip he watched about the young Albert Eisten who listened to his professor as he talked about the Wicked God who created wickedness and evil. He claimed since God created everything on Earth, God also created evil and hence an evil God. Albert stood up and asked the professor 'Is there cold?" The professor answered "Yes! Why do you ask?" Albert replied, "No! You are wrong, there is no cold. According to the law of physics, cold is the absence of heat, but it does not exist". He asked again, "is there darkness?". This time, the professor was hesitant but still answered "Yes, there is". "There you go again, there is no darkness, it is the absence of light and only light exist. SO therefore, evil and wickedness only seem to exist when the presence of God is absent in our lives and hence God is not Evil nor wicked and nothing negative was created by Him". The professor's head stood down as little Albert went back to his seat.
God has revealed unto Man that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6, 22:13). He knows all things and right from the beginning He knows the end. This is how God operates. Before bringing out this point clearly; in relation to this issue, we can stop by a little to fully grasp this divine feature of God.
Jeremiah29:11 makes it so clear that God's plans for us are not of evil but of good to give us an expected end. He determines the beginning and the end, regardless of the middle. God's plans for us are definitely of good, we are the major factor of the evil surrounding us. Greed for instance, mismanagement of the little you have. remember the parable of the 5 talents? In summary one man had 5, another had 2 and the last had one. The first two individuals used theirs for business and replicated their talents while the last one grumbled and hid his under the soil. What happened? It was taken away from him by the master and was issued to the one with 5 talents. That is exactly what is happening today. The rich people or rich nations are getting richer while the poor ones are refusing to develop, is it God's fault?
What about War?
What about war? Why can't God prevent it? Matthew24:6-8 tells us of Jesus' prophecy on wars, rumors of wars etc on the last days. Does that mean God wanted war right from the beginning? Revelation22:11a says that evil people will keep on being evil and everyone who is dirty-minded will still be dirty-minded. And other portions of the Bible stated that many shall be lovers of themselves in the last days. These are attributes which can easily bring about conflicts and hence wars. Analyze the reasons of wars and rumors of it in our present world and compare them with the Bible verses above if they correspond-greed, power tussle, dominance,resource-hungry, human conflicts etc. What then do you want God to do? Come down from Heaven and make the evil ones good? Or you want Him to destroy the bad ones? He is merciful and HE is giving them time to repent.
So therefore, War and poverty are not reasons to believe God does not care. Look at these two situations critically and you will realize that they are all Human disasters. Count the poorest countries in the world today and they are the ones blessed with World natural resources from whom? From God Himself! So do you want God to come down and help them manage what He has given to them? The poorest continent is the richest in natural resources with little or no occurrences of natural disasters and yet its people cannot manage its resources. Their leaders acquiring wealth for themselves which could have gone a long way and raising life standards of their people.
Finally and in summary, we are the cause of the poverty and war and we have no reason, nor right, nor explanations to blame it on God. The corruption in Africa has eaten every system up that majority of the African population still live below a comfortable standard. Would you say God created Corruption? The greed that has encompass all areas of the world including the western world where the rich from Africa store embezzled government funds into foreign accounts, thereby making the westerners richer in the detriment of the African country in focus is another point to note. What about the Iraq wars and Afghanistan war? They all sum up to Human manipulations and/or diplomatic ways of extortion and nothing else.We cannot make situations worse for ourselves and look up to Heaven and ask God why? He has given us everything we need. It is now left for us to use them for our own benefits and to glorify His name, or He takes it away from us and give it to another with even more. If we continue fighting wars and killing ourselves, He will not come down from heaven to save us, rather He will sit in His majestic throne waiting to judge us! Lets be wise and look horizontally, instead of vertically, in this way, we'll make the first step in solving these two major problems 'shaking' mankind...

You're absolutely right. And God has already "come down" to save us. Man cannot help being what he is because of his sin condition, which means his mind is set on evil as a result of demonic influences. There's salvation from it all at the Cross.

She takes a lonely smile
As she holds her young one,
Not knowing what to do.
She's consumed.
Scared that she has no one in sight.
Her hands are frail,
But what those men are doing's not right.
She tries to explain,
But her child is dying in her arms.
She screams, whatever I can do:
Give me the money for I need the food,
Look at my child, the common good.
Why did nature rear its ugly head,
While my child is almost dead.
He takes a look at her eyes and starts to wonder.
Are those really genuine cries,
She's consumed,
By the dryness going on.
He throws a bag of food,
She grabs it,
Trying to make a haste.
But her arms are frail,
Its to heavy.
It crumbles like a load on her.
And she screamed:
Whatever happened,
To the compassion he had.
He just threw, The food to the dying child.
Crying aloud as she fell:
Give me the money for I need the food,
Look at my child, the common good.
Why did nature rear its ugly head,
While my child is almost dead.
They slowly help her up to her feet,
And they move the body.
Of the once living skeleton child.
She is consumed.
By the pain that is in her heart,
She began to cry.
Whatever happened,
To the love and compassionate.
Charging so much for the rice.
That my child
Ended up dead in the fight:
Give me the money for I need the food,
Look at my child, the common good.
Why did nature rear its ugly head,
While my child is almost dead.
Would you ever give without red tape heart,
To bring back love and compassion, play a part.
Why did she have to lose her child,
Just for the tax beguiled.
To make a buck to help the rich in hand.
She took her lifeless child,
As she dragged the food home.
Digging a grave with her bare hands,
She is consumed,
For she has no strenght left to fight.
Her child was the light in her life.
Give me the money for I need the food,
Look at my child, the common good.
Why did nature rear its ugly head,
While my child is almost dead.
Give me the money for I need the food,
Look at my child, the common good.
Why did nature rear its ugly head,
While my child is almost dead.

Dedicated to the struggling families in Africa wherein they walk miles for water, have no money for food (where prices go up like the direction of the wind)and people like these become just a statistic to increase wealth in the coffers of the rich and even have dead people line the voting lists so that they get re-elected to keep the money and power going.
Don't let the success of your degree get to you, use it to help people like these, not for two months but for a life time as that is the noblest thing to do.
Thank you for sharing.

Jack: I wonder if you felt that I had been contaminated by the Urantia and I am beyond forgiveness as you have never addressed this again. I understand that all our sins, if we ask, are forgven.

Funom: Sometimes I write and then think afterwards but I have guilt about unknowingly belonging to a group, years ago, which must have been originated by evil forces, unbeknownst to me. I know if I ask for forgiveness, it will be granted, but obviously I have not forgotten. (This comment can be disregarded). Thanks for asking, Funom.

Someone very close to me went through being tormented by evil forces and succumbed to it too. Not one but two of them and very special too.
If you have been in something like this, the best thing to do is to forgive yourself and ask the people whom you have harmed knowingly or unknowingly to to forgive you. You need not meet them but gather them in your thoughts and seek their forgiveness. They will forgive you but may not necessarily want to associate with you again either.
The greatest healing in life comes from forgiving yourself and personally, when I went through the toughest patch in my life, the only person I had to turn to was the Creator and writing. So speak to the Creator in whatever way you deem appropriate and you will see the peace coming onto you. When you get this peace, you automatically start to sleep better, and radiate positive vibes and create a smile like no other on your face.
The main thing is to find solutions not put band aids, the solutions come only if you search within you. You have the answer, you just have to find it.
Take care and peace be with you as we speak....

And why can't you forgiet? Are you feeling much guilt? Just try to see the positive aspect of it and since you know and you believe you have been forgiven, then you should do your best to try and at least not remember it, because that only shows you are yet to forgive yourself.... And I sincerely hope you do so.
