This whole month of April, I have appreciated the importance of being always in a healthy condition.

Hospitalized Relatives

Never did it happened before that I have several relatives at the same time sent to hospital and is in the brink of death.

Last April, there was a news that my cousin encountered a road accident and was comatose in the hospital. It was not actually the first time, one time we rushed him to hospital because of the same thing, he ride his motorcycle after having a drinking spree. I mean he is drunk. The first time he got lots of wound on his face. This time around he slammed hard, some bones are broken including bones in the head. It was actually his fault. However, thank God he survived, he will be released this week. Other patients beside him died after several days. I guess he was still given a chance to live.

A few weeks after, my mother is worried again, this time my auntie who has a myoma or actually malignant tumor in the uterus, needed to be hospitalized again because after a year the tumor removed surgically came back again and is causing pain. I thought it was just in TV that I saw this scenario. She looks pregnant, obviously because the tumor is growing inside. My auntie is still young to die and her children needs her as she is widowed already. I really hope and pray for miracle for her. I want her to survive the cancer.

Now, on my father side, they have a cousin and he looks very healthy, no one would believe he would have that kind of disease. They say he is suffering from some atrophy of the brain. The brain starts to shrink and water gets inside the brain. I could not believe it myself but they say the family is already preparing themselves to accept his death anytime as things are not doing well.

Just recently, my grandfather's sister who is 90 years old slid on the floor and needs to be rush to the hospital for broken bones. I know they have long life because my grandfather survive 2 operations recently and is back to normal.

No one in my house has been hospitalized so far for serious health problems, just some flu, colds and cough. We cannot really tell when these dreaded diseases or accidents will come. Right now we are all planning to save a lot for health insurance. I am very thankful now everyday for my health because being healthy all the time is a great blessing.

Thank you, Avery. We don't think too much about being well until we become ill. Look after yourself and my best wishes to your family.
