Corruption in your daily lives

We ,as civilians,lead our daily grinds that are determined by work or business hours and yet a major part of such lives are irritants that we normally categorize as corruption of people, processes or systems. The label corruption depends upon the internal ethic that we maintain.I was interested to have opinions from all over the world as to how and where do people find corruption(of any kind).
Enlist your corruption related irritants here
With the above page summary standing good. I would request your listing of at least three instances,all drawn from your daily lives,wherein you encountered a practice or a demand from another person,procedure or system that you classified as corrupt. I would also love your feedback as to the power that was wielded on you by such person,procedure or system.Thereafter,you could go on to describe the demand made on you versus the relief of work outcome that you were looking forward to.What happened to the entire episode.Did you yield and oblige?Did you refuse? If you did then what was the outcome of your work? Whether it was done or even delayed? Finally how was it resolved ,if at all it was ? what was the loss suffered by you ? and what you think could have remedied the entire scenario.
One has to keep in mind that generally speaking corruption is getting things faster against parting of consideration which is not due otherwise(per system).Things include all material and immaterial things(including services) and even emotions.So even love treachery can be classed as some kind of corruption. So kindly go ahead and list and enumerate and lighten your hearts and minds.

Please do not name any individual or organization tacitly and rather just mention their work engagement .This is to prevent claims of allegations.In short avoid names of all kinds.

Dear Shishir Gupta, corruption has been there at every level in our daily lives. It is almost impossible to eliminate it at once. Corruption has been there since the beginning of human kinds' living. Am I too pesimistic? Thank you for sharing.

No you are reality bound when you say corruption is there all over and forever.However, we as ordinary folks encounter it only now and then specially when we are looking for something that is due to us(low or high stake).Those who affect or control the payoffs often chip in a consideration.I wanted three specific instances where your stakes were affected-delayed,denied or diminished.A general awareness is a terrific realization but real taste of the pudding is in eating it.Unless you had the pudding you possibly cannot say what it was like.
