College prep courses should be required at the junior high level instead of required in college..
College Prep Courses Should Be Required At the Junior High Level
There are college prep courses that colleges and universities require students take to complete their degree. These courses are such courses that are career success courses to help graduates succeed and be able to get a job. The question is: why aren't these courses required in high school? Better yet, junior high?
The information in these courses contains how to take notes, how to take tests successfully, how to manage your money, etc. This information should be taught in high school or junior high to better educate students for the real world when they get ready to enter the real world of getting a job or going onto college.
Why wait until the student is in college to take these courses? It seems like a waste of time and the student can take more necessary courses needed to get their degree and it probably wouldn't take as long to get a degree if these courses were taken in high school or junior high. Then college wouldn't be so expensive if courses like these college prep courses were taken in high school.
