One among the noblest things in the world is Blood Donation. Generally more talked about and seldom a reality.
Have the honor of donating blood
Habits form in children at school whether good or bad. It is the best time to inculcate the habit of donating blood into their minds. There is fear in the minds of people when it comes to the issue of donating blood even if it were for a family member or a good friend in dire need. This is because of lack of awareness.
In case schools can dedicate one class in a month for bringing in awareness into the children by inviting either Red Cross or NGO's who are actively into blood donation more people will voluntarily donate blood.
It is more in the psyche and in reality a person does not even know that he has given blood. He recovers within 24 hours and is yet not allowed to donate within 90 days meaning which he will be perfectly fit as a fiddle to once again donate blood in 3 months.
Hope some of my readers can make a difference in their own society and neighborhood.
