Asleep in your arms
here is my baby,a very smart child. who can entertain her self when she has to, but also how trusting is a child, it makes you proud that they trust you that much.
The trust of a child
Babies are just small people that can't talk yet! If you think about it you will realize this is a true statement. I always talk to my daughter like she was an adult. She understand most everything I say,but because of her young age she can't answer or react to it. She and I have kind of a sign language worked out.
Unlike many adults that ignore you when you talk to them she stops and listens to me, she may ignore what I have to say bu t at least she listened. She is a very sensitive child, she feels sad when you hurt and happy when you are happy. She can also be very angry and mad when she doesn't get her way, but she is very reasonable and I can talk her out of “her mad” most of the time.
Then like any young child she trusts her mother and I in what ever we do. She is one of the most helpful babies I have ever seen, when I am ready to go out she will go to the bedroom and get my shoes and socks for me. When I come in she will take them and put them away for me. Now that she is starting to talk a little it is very interesting what she has to say.
She is not shy at all, she will talk to everybody, and she is everybody’s friend, she hits all the neighbors up for cookies and of course they always give her a hand out. We have taught her to say please and thank you, like an adult would.
She speaks English very well and Visayan too. Most people thinks she is older that what she is, she is only two years and three months old.
She trusts her mother and I in everything, we can pick he up and spin her around,or have he jump off a high place into our arms, she knows we are going to catch her that is trusting some one with your life.
The ultimate trust though is when a baby trust you so much that she will go to sleep in your arms. I enjoy holding her so much and she talks to me or just smiles, but the best thing is when she gently goes to sleep in my arms.
